Seminar on "The Philosophy of Iqbal and Quaid's Pakistan"

Unique Group of Colleges and Aiwan-e-Iqbal collectively organized a seminar on "The Philosophy of Iqbal and Quaid's Pakistan". Addressing the seminar, Director Iqbal Academy Pakistan, Prof. Dr. Baseera Ambreen said that the personalities of Quaid-e-Azam and Iqbal were full of dynamism. Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam were both dedicated leaders committed towards the progress of the nation. She elaborated on how Allama Iqbal considers Ishq e Rasool as the basis of our lives. There was emphasis on how in Iqbal's Pakistan, people seem to be committed to Ishq Rasool. She illuminated how Iqbal's second integral point has to do with "self awareness" which he named "khudi" which is pivotal for nation building. In the context of Pakistan, there is a need for technical education and training. The example of China and Japan were showcased as the proofs of this point. Director Iqbal Academy said that 50% of the population i.e women are unaware of their rights that Islam has given to them. The third aspect of Iqbal's ideology is to strengthen the Muslim Community. In this context, Allama's poetry is considered the manifesto for present Muslim world. In the beginning, Iqbal himself belonged to Congress but over time, he realized that Hindus and Muslims could not live together and so the creator of the Trana-e-Hindi came up with the idea of ??a separate homeland for Muslims. It is thus a signature of great minds that they accept their own mental evolution. Allama then engaged in nation building with a new spirit. Ishq Rasool, love for one's goals and love for one's nation are an integral part of Iqbal's philosophy. She emphasises on how Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam are the mentors for the younger generation. Provincial Minister Ashfa Riaz Fatyana, Chairman Unique Group Abdul Manan Khurram, Anjum Waheed and Dr. Najeeb Jamal were also present on this occasion.
